Creamy Beef and Spinach Pasta
150g mushrooms
200g pasta
50g parmesan
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp butter
to taste salt
to taste black pepper
100g spinach
200g ground beef
1/2 cup milk
Clean and slice the mushrooms. Mince the garlic. Wash and chop the spinach. Grate the Parmesan cheese.
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Season with salt and black pepper.
In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp of butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the milk and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
Add the cooked pasta, mushrooms, and spinach to the creamy sauce. Toss everything together until well coated. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Garnish the dish with extra grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of black pepper. Serve the creamy beef and spinach pasta hot, and enjoy!
For a spicy kick, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes when sautéing the ground beef. You can also substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version of this dish.
